The Sales Associate is responsible for providing sales, marketing program, and administrative support to their assigned Sales hub.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Sales Associate, you will interact with various members of the FIG team, agents, and other partners to ensure high-quality back-office support. You will work primarily with the SVP and VP of Sales for your assigned hub, assisting them in the recruitment process, implementing ideas, and ensuring follow-through on agreed-upon tasks to help drive overall team success.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Receive and submit electronic contracting request. Enter and update all necessary data in the FIG CRM system.

• Organize and develop assigned Sales Consultant’s ideas and vision for marketing programs and promotions. Provide outlines and visual maps to show steps and timelines for completion. Ensures that benchmarks and deadlines are met for each project.

• Assist sales hub with marketing efforts including calling existing agents for special promotions, new product roll outs, rate changes, sales ideas, project follow ups, and more. Take inbound calls from agents to assist with illustration requests, product information, underwriting questions and more.

• Create and update informational spreadsheets weekly including Sales Consultant’s agents lists (top 50, etc.). Maintain the hubs daily schedule and assist with work overflow.

• Field prequalification requests from agents, transcribe data, ask appropriate follow-up questions and send data to carrier partners to review. Communicate carrier feedback to agents.

• Assist the assigned sales hub in a variety of other ways to increase their overall business. Support FIG in a variety of other duties and responsibilities as required by supervisor.

• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience

• Meticulous organization, speed, diligence, accuracy, initiative, timeliness, attention to detail, professionalism and time management skills

• Must be able to work independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A strong commitment to team culture and positive attitude is required

• Position sometimes requires extended work hours and will require some overnight travel

• NC Life, Health, and LTC/Medical Supplement license preferred
